No. 21 East Carolina Hits The Road To Take On Temple
East Carolina, which is bowl eligible for the eighth time in the last nine years, opens a two-game roadswing when it faces Temple in an American Athletic Conference battle Saturday at 12 noon. The Pirates, who will enjoy their third and final bye week of the 2014 campaign after visiting Philadelphia, will try to begin league play 4-0 for the first time since 2010 when they square off against the Owls. The East Carolina women's basketball team was picked to finish third in the American Athletic Conference after a vote by the league's head coaches, the conference announced Thursday. (More)
